Introducing the Option of 9ct Gold, Gold Vermeil and Rolled Gold to the Bridal Collection
Please note - due to supplier difficulties we wre no longer able to offer Gold Vermeil findings as an option in our jewellery
SilverTree Jewellery Design has always offered the option of gold plate for tiaras, alice bands and many of our bridal hair accessories, and now from July 2010, we're happy to be able to offer many of our bridal jewellery designs in gold coloured metals for those of you looking for gold accessories for your wedding day.
You are now able to select gold options for some of our designs in the necklace, bracelet, earring and pendant collections - please see each item gallery and the individual product page for more information.
The most exciting addition is the option of Gold Vermeil. These findings are made in Sterling Silver and then plated in (a minimum) of 18ct Gold. They are of very high quality, have a similar colour to 9ct Gold and look lovely.
Gold Vermeil also has the advantage of being only fractionally more expensive than Sterling Silver ( we've added just £1.00 to the cost of the earrings, £1.50 to the cost of necklaces and bracelets).
The second cost effective alternative to 9ct Gold is Gold Filled - also called Rolled Gold. Gold Filled is a layer of gold (usually 14ct) bonded by heat and pressure to a layer of metal - normally brass. It is an economic alterntive to 9ct gold and is also very close in colour - being less yellow than Gold Vermeil.
We have also added more designs that are available in 9ct Gold. These items are usually subject to availabilty and we are always happy to provide a bespoke quote and confirm exact availablilty. The price for all 9ct Gold items are subject to the price of gold at the time of quoting.
Please use the links above for more details of the jewellery available in 9ct/Gold Vermeil. If you have any doubts about what's available or any questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to help.
