Our New Sterling Silver Collection
At SilverTree Jewellery Design we're proud to launch our new Sterling Silver Collection.
This collection represents where it all started for us - creating handmade, Sterling Silver jewellery for sale at craft fairs, fetes and jewellery parties - and we're really excited to be able to show it to a wider audience.
The collection consists of a range of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and - in the future - anklets, all made in Sterling Silver and using precious and semi precious gemstones, the finest Swarovski Crystal and any interesting, unusual or rare glass beads and pendants that catch our eye.
Unlike the Bridal Collection, which is designed for a particular market so must meet certain criteria (although we like to think we do push the boundaries a little), the Sterling Silver Collection has much more flexibility and is therefore much more representative of what inspired us to create jewellery in the first place - gorgeous beads, fabulous colours and the opportunity to own and wear a unique piece of jewellery.
In this collection we are able to express our love of bold colours and colour combinations and create larger, statement pieces of a much more individual nature. The Bridal Collection on the other hand is designed to meet the more traditional aspirations of the wedding market and is therefore a more restrained collection of jewellery that uses much more delicate colours and materials.
In the past, when selling direct to the public in what was a relatively small geographic area, we had a strict policy of never repeating the same design in the same beads. We have recognised that we can relax this policy slightly now we're selling to the whole of the UK, so we've introduced our Limited Edition range. The items in this part of the collection use readily available beads and components so can be easily recreated for a wider market. However to retain some exclusivity, we've limited the number we will reproduce to only 5. Anybody buying one of these pieces is guaranteed to own one of a limited edition of only 5 in that particular colour/gemstone.
Some of the beads, pendants and components we use are sourced abroad - usually in the United States where there seems to be a bead shop around every corner selling excellent quality gemstones that we just can't resist buying! These rare beads are usually used in the Exclusive Edition section of the collection - and this means that anything in this range is a guaranteed, one-off piece of jewellery. Sometimes, however, we may designate a piece a piece of jewellery an Exclusive Design just because we think it deserves to be unique!
Finally - as with our bridal designs, many of the pieces in the Sterling Silver Collection can be customized - so if you see a design you like but would prefer it in a different colour or perhaps a special gemstone - then please get in touch and we'll do our best to help. It's what we're here for and what we love to do!
